Armando Correa was named managing editor of People en Español and its website, in December 2007. He is charged with managing the magazine’s editorial team including writers and editors in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Mexico.

 

Prior to being named managing editor, Correa served as the magazine’s executive editor charged with supervising the development, reporting and writing of celebrity profiles and human interest story development.

 

Correa joined People en Español during the magazine’s launch in 1997, as a senior writer. During his tenure, Correa has edited franchise issues such as “50 Most Beautiful,” as well as cover stories on celebrities including Luis Miguel, Shakira, Adamari Lopez, Ricky Martin and Veronica Castro to name a few.
